I don't have any words for this, really. I will say, the overwhelming amount of pandering for this jackass and his family that I witnessed in Vegas, was not something I could've prepared for or anticipated. It followed me home to SoCal, too. In the last couple weeks, I've seen Facebook pictures of the dynamic duo in front of LA bond offices and one prominent surety executive even posted pictures of their family as guests at the Chapman's house (somewhere in the Hollywood Hills, I believe) while they all watched the episode of the new Hawaii 5-0, which featured the PBUS Senior VP and her little chain-dog. It makes me sick and there will be a serious uphill battle against this mockery of the profession.

The sad thing is that most people out there are not educated about this business and believe that he is the spokesperson for this industry.

He is working directly against most of the positive efforts by the true professionals in this business. Trying to disarm us and give us a bad image to law enforcement yet PBUS parades them around like they are something to aspire to. As far as I am concerned they are reality television personalities and no more.

I'm ready to start a petition asking the Mexican government to reinstate those kidnapping charges.

"Going cross country, training other bounty hunters"..... ghee... I really want to see them enter Virginia or NC and attempt a recovery.... or Maryland, or Philadelphia... I cannot wait.... want to see how that 'felony conviction' plays out with DCJS...

... I may need to grow a pony tail and get a nice new tattoo............. maybe get Gail to dye her hair.... and gain 150lbs...... 8) ... sorry, I got carried away.... BTW... I never untie my tennis shoes... that way, I can just slip them on and off without worrying about having to tie them............. or I just wear my Bunnie rabbit house slippers.... Image:oops: or my tactical sandals.....

Yep, Dwayne has done much to hurt the image of the typical Bounty Hunter, unfortunatley, there are many more that is assisting him with that negative image. Noticed how some people that get into this business quickly change their appearance. Pictures on facebook trying to look tough. How many Bail Agents have made the news lately? Dwayne isn't helping, but there are many more out there doing as much or more, to hurt this industry. I'm no fan of Dwayne, you can be assured of that, but one Dwayne Chapman hasn't gotten us to where we are now. There are tons of blame to go around. One Bounty Hunter out of Alabama just got out of prison. (it's not who you may be thinking of) but I don't like putting skewed articles on here so I'll leave it at that. One is in prison in NC, I could go on and on but I'll stop here.

THIS is RIGHT OFF of Dogfaces website, am I misinterpretting this verbage???

** Each week, the Chapmans will arrive in a different city to work with local bondsman offices and their team of bounty hunters. Upon arrival, the Chapmans will bring their years of experience to every aspect of the business, from the writing of bonds to the implementation of tactical tracking and high-tech device training. With their trademark no-holds barred candor and strong belief in second chances, the Chapmans will motivate and inspire local bounty hunters as they join forces on adrenaline-filled hunts, all the while showing their contemporaries a few new tricks along the way.

Unfortunately, most LEs are not aware of the fugitive recovery laws in CA. But that is changing.

I can say if he tries to "work" in Orange County, he will get caught as their S.O. is leading the way in educating other LEs about the law that went back into effect Jan 1 of this year.

When we were in Vegas, the producers of the "show" were signing up bail agents that wanted to have doggie work on their skips. I guess the bail agents are after their own 15 minutes of fame.

Quite honestly, from what I observed and know how television works, I doubt the "new" show will last more than a year or 2. Its on a relatively obscure network, he is still the a$$hole he has always been and the production costs are going to be a lot more because of the travel all around the country.

So if they don't pull the number of viewers to attract a large audience in order to get the commercial support, the show will be toast fairly quickly.
