My primary for the last several years has been my RUGER P90. I have never had a problem with it and I love shooting it.

With all if the preppers and survivalists buying gold, I buy lead, because with lead I can have all of the gold I want! Besides, weapons are better as currency if the fit hits the shan. Scott

Not a bad idea. Maybe Laura will let me go buy some more if I use that as an excuse.

I have, but sometimes the media will use the most unflattering picture they can find to make the perp look menacing.
They did that with George Zimmerman and showed a smiling pic of Trayvon Martin to make him look like a innocent kid.
Also, one of the news magazines photoshopped OJ Simpson and made him look darker than he was in the photo they used of him. In OJ s case I believe he was guilty anyway and actually had a "dark" side to him.

midwestfr wrote: Hey fellow gun nuts, I'm trying to get some reviews. A friend of mine is looking at buying a Ruger SR40C. I'm not familiar with this model. I know some of you are. Can I get some pros and cons on this gun? Thanks. Have sr9c stainless slide no problems, Bought sr40c after cleaning I noted some unusual marks in slide resembling chip out from machine marks where muzzle exits slide and rear sight slot. I sent it to Ruger and they replaced it. I shot 50 rounds after return and cleaned. Noted the metal on the slide around the end of the spring rod underneath the muzzle broke out on 1/2 of the circumference of the hole surrounding the end of the rod. I am going to contact ruger. Did anybody have a problem with the black slide? It looks like the alloy is defective.

Same here with me. Have plenty of ammo for all my handguns. Only have 40 rounds of .223. But have that on back order from Cabelas for several months now.
They still say they will fill my order.........
Doing dry fire practice with my LaseLyte target.
