Good question and I don't know. I have called his number several times recently to no avail. Maybe he is on vacation ?

I do recall that he had mentioned earlier going into New Orleans, La. So who knows...

Ruffin I appreciate your phone calls I was at a Sheriff's Convention when you had called me. I have decided to stay away for awhile since this site had turned into personal attacks on myself and several other members including you. I will not participate in these lines of attacks and figured if I stayed away it woulkd give people other avenues to pursue other than attacks. Lance had stated that he was considering the same on a post awhile back and I replied with amen! I just chose to act on it for myself for now.

Thanks to all for their concern I, am still around, just staying out of the fray for now.

Robert... my postings have diminished but not because of any attacks. I don't give a sweet >explective< if anyone attacks me anyway. I pick up the stones thrown at me and throw them back with a vengeance that doesn't cease with this forum.

Don't allow anyone to dissuade you from posting... as Albert Camus wrote, "It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees."

Bob please do not allow some people to keep you away--we all have opinions and this is the place to express them--many people here think i am a jerk and an as-hole-guess what sometimes they are right sometimes they are wrong-i will fight for their right to both think and express their warped opinion--i will never lay down my sword --a great american(CHARLTON HESTON) once said at an NRA fund raiser they can have my guns when they pry them out of my cold dead fingers--i do agree one hundred percent-i also feel the same about opinions we have the right of expression on both sides--i relize that at times counter attacks are useless and unproductive so say what you feel and go on please -both you and your better half WOULD BE SORELY MISSED-AND THIS FORUM WOULD MISS OUT ON A GOOD EDUCATOR AND 2 GOOD PEOPLE again just my opinion

Bob, glad to hear all is well with you and yours. In spite of our different directions, I am always at your disposal if needed. We can professionally agree/disagree respectfully with 1 another on issues, but that doesn't interfere with friendship.

Take care and God Bless,

Ruffin.
