I "bounty hunt" butts AND metal. My company does a lot more repossesions than bounties. I wish it were the other way around. The fact that I am not a bail "bondsman" and only work the bail recovery end of the business requires me to expand my operations into other areas for financial reasons. "I can't aford to do just bail enforcement. I got three kids who are eating machines and a dog who just had twelve puppies." I honestly feel that doing one hones my skills at the other. Either business you are hunting for someone/something. Either business you are working on a get 'em or don't get paid basis. I have on one occassion gotten a repo order for a car and felt like I knew the debtor's name from somewhere. I DID ! It was a bail jumper's wife!!!!! I had been looking for this guy for almost six months with no luck. The finance company had good, current addresses for the debtor. BADDA BING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took the guy to jail in his OWN vehicle. I kinda did that out of pure meanness and a little satisfaction.

As for DOG, well it is entertainment on tv Wednesday nights. My yunguns love Leland. I understand the bad taste his tactics put in the mouths of the people who judge us. Still, I ain't going to judge him, just the same.

As for Operation Repo, well that is just a remake of DOG. Nowhere in our country can a repo agent body slam a debtor on the ground and pepper spray the 90 lb teenage girl just to get the keys to her car. If this show was real, they would all be in federal prison by now. Especially Matt. Then you have the owner's sister. Great big, nasty &^$# with piercings coming out of her lip and I would hate to even think where else. This is their extremely nasty version of Beth Chapman. Operation Repo is to Dog the Bounty Hunter what The Flintstones were to the Honeymooners. Uh Oh, guess I just gave my age away huh? I like those old shows.

My wife got me the book by DOG for Christmas last year. I read it and to my amazement, it was pretty good. Please don't disown me now cause I said something decent about DOG. I don't agree with what goes on. I'm just saying, the book was pretty good. Guess I better go now before I keep digging my hole deeper. lol. Ya'll have a great evening and stay safe, no matter what. And remember this, Every day spent above ground is a good day. If there is a tomorrow morning, wake up and thank GOD for giving us one more beautiful day to spend with our family and the career we love. See ya !!!

I Do not intend to be like "Dawg" at all, i hate that man, he is a low tech hillbilly,
I want to come into this because i feel that perverts and murders and so on, should see their day in court, I did my crimes and i did my time, and i learned my lesson, i dont want to get into this to be a crazy nut or a gun ho johnny shoot em all,
I am doing this because i think it is something that should get done,
But in no way, shape, or form want to be the "bounty hunter or Operation Repo" kind of people,
And besides, Operation Repo is the lamest show on Tru Tv.

I have alot of inovative idea's and training i am going to bring to the business with me,
I am 24, i have been and still am working in corporate security since i was 18,
I have experience with Cuff, Mase, Baton, Surveillence and Advanced Security and fire alarm systems,
I have been with the same company and the same site for 5 years now,
I also learned alot of tactical Manuvers with a local police explorer group, and I have done 30 hours of ride time with a local metro police department.

But, like i previously posted,
I messed up down the line with an Ex, and i built myself a record,
But, i was wondering in term of records if it is possible to get a BEA License,
I am looking to get my license in North Carolina,

If you have any felonies you are not eligible for licensing, If your commissioner wants to, you would not be eligible for any misdemeanor that has to do with Theft, Dishonesty etc. As stated it would be up to your commissioner to say you were eligible. There is another problem you might run into, would if you could find a bondsman to hire you with a record.

As most would run a background check on you for pre employment screenings, if it is not favorable to the employer he has the right not to hire you. There are a lot of variables to the question you have asked.

This business is tough to get into with a clean record

Bill, you got me by about 10 or 11 years, but by now you must know that I on top of old cowboy and cop movies. Alfred LaRue 1917-1996 was a former hairdresser turned cowboy actor, alot of people said he looked like Bogart . He even did a porno movie in the earlier 70's when he was broke and needed money "Hard on the trail" however he did not do any of the sex scenes.
