I am curious to see how many of us do this job 100% fulltime.

Pretty much same as David, but I also do accounting. Some of us do it full time, but we also have other businesses.

I am trying to find out who does nothing else but recovery. I personally have no other job and am trying to find out if anyone else is doing the same.

Dustin
I mirror David, and don't know anyone that does bail enforcement as a sole income that has sustainability in this business. I do, however, know many who have tried and failed to be able to make a living full time.

Please don't misunderstand me, that doesn't mean that weren't good at what they did, it is just that a bondsman that has enough skips to support you won't be in business that long. therefore, one must have many bondsmen clients, or have the reputation to work for the insurance company or companies directly.

Best of luck, stay safe,

Scott

Like the others I am a PI and am a certified marine and maritime investigator as well as doing fugitive recovery. I remember hearing somewhere that here in California there are over 1000 bail fugitive recovery persons and only about 10 are doing it full time (and I think that is a high estimate). And those that are doing it full time have been in the business for an average of 20+ years.

I, along with the rest of the team, do Recovery full time. Our belief is "Do one thing to perfection and there is no need for...side work". That is in no way a jab at anyone that does other work, or this part time, just to say that we only use full time Agents that are not distarcted by other lines of work. That is just the belief of our team(s) and it has worked well for the four years they have been in business. It gives the Bonding company a more personal feeling; a feeling that they are our only concern so we can get the job done quicker and more effectively.
