I have only been in this business for three years ... but I have quickly learned that here in Alabama, the Courts can do whatever they want to fit whatever agenda they currently have on their plate. We have one set of rules, the State Code/Statute, that we sincerely try to follow ... and they have another. Sucks.

Bill,
It's still nowhere near as bad as my state. If local PD brings in my FTA the bond is forfeited. We had one occasion early last year where a skip was recovered 3 days after his failure to appear by the BONDSMAN and the judge still forfeited the bond.
If you have a right in your state to revoke the bond, (here we don't) I would do just that.
