Bail USA was the first surety company to step and support NABBI financially. I have met most of the top management of BAIL USA and they not only support us, but are fighting against pre trial and all the other attacks against surety bail.
Some agents have said that they will wait to see if NABBI survives before joining. If NABBI does anything. Or who the members are because they may not like some of the members.
Others are just not "joiners."
OK, fine. But, if you don't have a place in the game, please do not criticize those that are trying to accomplish something. No one is perfect or has all the right answers.
On a very positive note, The California Department of Insurance has approved the classes that Bill and I presented at the NABBI summer conference in Long Beach, as approved Continuing Education course for California bail agents.
These two courses, Old School Professional Bondsman and Interviewing and Interrogations, were developed for the NABBI conferences.
Bill and I will be presenting these courses to hundreds of bail agents, surety companies and a few law enforcement officials attending the CBAA annual conference this October 7 and 8th.
This will provide more national exposure for NABBI.

take a look at the membership page and verify your contact info...
if it needs updating, drop me a pm or an email, which you can get off my webpage... so I can get it fixed.
include whatever you want out in the public view...
emails, phones, addresses....

Just updated a bit more on the NABBI site... Founding members are in Green and underlined Board Members have an astrix after "Founding Member"* If something is not right... you drop me a note and let me know.... I am old and blind probably cold after being in the woods all day and maybe a bit 'in the tank' so just let me know and I will fix it....

Again, I can't stress this enough. If you plan on attending and want to stay at the Hilton where the conference is being held, you should make you room reservations now!
If you need to, you can cancel them up to 7 days before the conference for a full refund of your deposit.
We have a very small amount of rooms reserved at the rate of $139. That is $100 off their regular rate.
Spring is a very busy time for ALL the hotels in VB. Normal rates will be well over $200 per night, so if you wait until the last minute you may be shocked at the costs of the rooms.
Or they may be sold out.

Not sure why this post showed up dated 3/13... I paid this room and posted this back several months or so ago...
