Edited after re-reading the thread: Never mind. I read the post incorrectly. M-Day (drilling) National Guard/Reserve soldiers were not mentioned. My mistake.

Marty...May I suggest you READ Title 48 of the United States Code, Chapter 4...hate to burst your bubble, but PR is an unincorported area of the US and still subject to its laws..and as promised I did make that one call to check on your credentials...in a nutshell, I would not hire you...and did I mention we opened an office in Puerto Rico?? Sorry..but you really opened a can of worms here, and I don't buy any of it..you are operating above the law and that has NO place here....

I think for the sake of general information and as a possible wake up to any new members or aspiring members in this industry... we should probably leave this thread up and visible.

NYPDBLUE provided some very helpful info and links and the failure of SRU to provide verifiable certification, although he was certainly given ample time to do so... answers the questions loudly.

You have to be compliant in this business, you just can't decide you are going to do recovery work and jump in... I hope that all newbies read this thread and take to heart the info provided... it will give them a path to legality and probably a very good chance of staying out of jail themselves.

KEEP IT LOCKED BUT KEEP IT VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC...IMHO.
