Ok Dominic,

What part of the Isles are you from? Or better let, if you take a sip every now and then, what is your choice of poison?

I have two sets of cards.
One to give to people i want to call with info.
One for law enforcement.

I also have 6 or 7 dummy cards with fake company info that have real numbers and emails but fake names on to lure (pope - sp)* people in.

As far as titles.
I tell the person face to face what i am and that title changes with each person as i tell them what i feel will make them most comfortable.

Such as Bail Liaison Officer or Bond Account Coordinator.

I think by now most folks know there are several areas in state and federal enforcement training where pretexting (or bold face lying) is part of the certification an agent must go through in order to become a field op. But as a civilian, you have to be cognizant of the Patriot Act and related statutes relating to impeding an officer's duties. Other than that, lie away!

Just for clarification. My name is Bill Williams but not the Bill Williams that started this thread and also not a retired Federal Agent.

Thank you

Bill W..... I was wondering when you would chime in on this one.... the other Bill Williams comes on every once in a while.... I think he is a private eye or a recovery agent.... or a retired federal agent or at least, that is what he says.... I really don't know... and don't particularly care... whatever someone says they are is fine with me.... until I have to do some business with them... they can be the 'King of Peru'... but I do know the difference between you two... not to fear ole boy......... I have verified who you are and what you do.... from personal experience.... 8)

BTW.... my title is just 'Bail Bondsman'... but sometimes I have been referred to as simply.... "that old fat azzhole" but Gail won't allow me to put that on my business cards... although it might garner some business....

You know Bill, normally I wouldn't care about seperating myself from the other Bill Williams, but there is something about that "Retired Federal Agent" that I want to distance myself from. :D

Dom, ... Send a check for $25.00 to " The Yak Foundation " in Northern NJ and we'll see if Nunzio can do anything for you. ......

Bill, ... when trained by NIBE I was taught that the name of the game is Trickery. I also use various cards depicting different titles & names as to lure different skips all while staying covert. This is a key to my success as from going from nothing to nothing in my span of Recovery work, guestimating I've been pimpin the pimps and playin de players for about 15 years now. ....

We have adopted the title "BAIL AGENT". We used to use "SURETY AGENT" which is what is printed on our license, but it seems almost every time we said it to someone, they would reply, "You're a SECURITY AGENT?"

So we started going with Bail Agent. It's simple, and most people know exactly what a Bail Agent is.

I like the sound of "Bail Enforcement Agent" "Bail Agent" instead of "Fugitive Recovery Agent" FRA sounds too tactical and intimidating.
