This came up during a break at the NABBI meeting. Joe Stiles and myself were talking and he stated that if we could get 20 people from each state involved with NABBI we as an association would be unstoppable. I commit right now to getting 20 people in our profession from North Carolina to apply for admittance into NABBI.
I want to put the same challange out there to all of you. First, join our association yourself, then go to work getting others on board. If we all work together this should be fairly easy to do.
This train is leaving the station with or without you and the true professionals will jump on board. We all talk about being professionals now lets see who will walk the walk.
I mentioned Joe Stiles, but these word are mine and mine alone. If this post offends anyone, you should pm or call me with your thoughts and leave only positive posts on this forum.
Now, let's see who not only talks the talk but walks the walk.

Looking forward to seeing the requirements for Membership and Training.
We are a very regulated State and there are no BEAs here (only Bail Bondsmen/women) with absolutely no wiggle room. Still lots to do with the Legislation process . . .

I accept your challenge and will further break it down for people who think twenty is a large number. If you recruit four people and have each one of them recruit four people you are already at twenty. I plan on meeting with my go to people in PA and DE and giving them the simple challenge of recruiting at least four people, if all of us do the same this organization will grow in leaps and bounds.

I am also excited and going to give my all to NABBI and its members.
Over the next couple of weeks the executive board, thats Scott, Debi, Phill and me will be getting the "paperwork" done to get our EIN, bank account opened. etc.
In the meantime, talk it up with your peers. Send them to the NABBI website. Explain our goals and what we have to offer.
I hope to have talking points out to the board members and all those that attended St Louis.

I'd like to expand it to beyond state boundaries. I mean most of us have our own "go to" people all over the country. Some of whom are not FRN members. I have clients in various parts of Tn, Ga, Mn, Ca, as well as contacts in other states. Just as I'm sure most of us do. So why not extend the invitations to everyone ?
I would suggest, seriously, that Tony invite Eric Holder to our next meeting.
I also agree with Luke's "Domino" theory.
