Howdy!
I am looking forward to meeting ya'll in St. Louis!
The more time I spend on this forum, the more I feel I just can't miss this event!
Hope to know whether I'll make it by the March 3rd date, but I'll need a productive February in order to be there.

I've got too many irons in too many fires, but not enough dollars in the bank right yet. Hope I can make it there!

Mel

Now that's funny right there!
Speezak asked me today what on earth I was holding in the photo presently serving as my avatar. I explained it is a metal detector. In fact, it's a White's V3i and a heckuva machine.

Folks are constantly amazed at how much gold I find with my detector. By that, I mean gold jewelry. I'll try my hand at outlaw stashes later on, but right now, I'm content to hunt places the locals haunt and tend to lose things along their way. Now... all I'd need is a few nice pieces of 14k gold, and I'll be on my way. Without a 3rd mortgage! LOL!

Otherwise, I might consider selling an 1895 Barber dime I found for about $400 bucks. Turns out it was minted in New Orleans, and they are considered a "keydate" find, since only 400,000 were minted.

But I'm hoping to find some nice pieces of gold in February. Hopefully the snow will quit for awhile so I can get my coil on the soil!

Thanks again for the laugh!
Mel

Registration is set up with Payments through PayPal.

Those that have registered will need to re-register.

Visit the website to "Officially" Register!
http://nabbi.org/events/4/nabbi-saint-louis-conference/

Cost is $100 per person for the conference.

Hotel is $99 per night.

I'll need 3 to 5 Lifetime Premium Membership Upgrades to afford this trip! ;^)

Bingo!
Just secured my hotel reservation for the conference. Now all I need to do is sign up with NABBI and I'll be good to go! Unfortunately, I'll be riding solo as the wife won't be tagging along. That could prove troublesome considering the presence of a casino! Without the wife to rein me in (or reign, as both definitions would apply!!!), mischief could ensue.

Looking forward to the event!
Mel

Well crap, I was talking with Joe Stiles the other day and he ask me if I was coming to the conference? I was until my wife said I can't because our son Kyle is getting married that day...... Everytime I try an plan something it back fires on me. So, I'll make it next time.
