Had a Bondman handcuff some to the front gate of the Pulaski County Jail many years ago because they would not take them. Can surrender at any time here . . . do not need a Judge's permission.

Bail revocations have caused more damage to this industry than any other actions. Some bondsman consider it part of their hustle and as a result of abusi g their perceived power, statutes have been put in place to regulate these revocations. In MD, one must surrender the full premium for the bond with the defendant upon revocation. It is hard to put up what you were never paid! In other states, one must get a Capius signed after demonstrating sufficient ACCEPTABALE reasons to revoke, and only then can you put your hands on somebody.
