Bill,
I did in deed bail "LuWanda" several years ago. It was very interesting.
First, she was too big to get into the police car. So they kept her at the arrest location.
Then they had to do the booking process on the street. Even if they could have gotten her to the jail, she would not have been able to get through the door.
Secondly, I had to post the bail on the street in front of the arrest location at 3:00 AM in the rain.
Third, she never was able to make it to court as she could not fit through the metal detectors and none of the court security would volunteer to do a body search.
So, finally the charges were dropped and my bond exonerated.
BTW, she was charged with........ indecent exposure. She bent over to try and pick up something and ripped her pants! A cop was driving by at the time and though she was mooning him.
