It helps and I have the search lady scouting locations in the St Louie area. I should have some preliminary RFPs in a week or so.

I told Bill to lock up that still!

Just want to keep everyone focused.

I am waiting on the search lady to get back to me with RFPs for the St Louis meeting in March. As soon as I get some offers with dates I will let everyone know.

Hear Ye, hear Ye, hear ye,

I just got the hotel choices for the St Louie meeting. So, here is a summary of the choices.

Dates Sunday , Monday and Tuesday - March 18, 19 and 20th 2012.
(One hotel also had the 25, 26 and 27th of March but , this hotel is not one that we would probably want to book.)

Price ranges from $95 to $169 per night BUT once we select a location we negotiate the price down a little more if we meet a minimum number of guests

Some are casino locations, some are with in a block or 2 of casinos and most are on or near the water, "Big Muddy" and near all the downtown St Louis attractions including the Arch.

Sorry Tom, but this is too early to catch a Cardinals game but, you can still walk to Busch stadium it is near the downtown area.

So, I will go through each RFP and make a suggestion of 2 or 3 locations based on costs and amendities and put it up for vote.

Main thing is the dates March 18 - 20th St Louis Missouri!

Also, we will have a minimum food and beverage order to meet in order to get the meeting rooms for free. So, I am guessing right now that the registration costs will be about $150 to $175 maybe higher once we add in tax and service charges.

It also depends on how many attendees we have, the more people the lower the indivdual costs. Plus we may be able to get exhibitors and or sponsors to attend and help lower the costs to the registrants.

So, everyone mark your calendars March 18 - 20th, 2012 will be the dates.

Here are the search results for the March St Louis N.A.B.B.I organizational meeting. All the dates are for March 18, 19 and 20th, 2012. That is a Sunday Monday and Tuesday.

The 3 best choices are all located downtown on or near the water front. A member also recommended another hotel but it is a couple miles out from the dwntwn area and does not have much entertainment available with in walking distance.

The room rates are about the same as the ones dwntwn so, unless someone really objects, we should make a selection from the 3 listed below.
