I would have to choose choice 1.

I personally would have to agree with Scott on this, Those month's (jan, feb ) would not be good for some of us, considering the holiday seasons just behind everybody and money bein tight but also there are some who make the extra cash whether it be overtime or not with the ever 4 letter word that begins with S and the removal of such (snow) LOL

I would see no reason for you not to hold the position of President for the first term Tony. You have my vote, you have demonstrated to me you are quite knowledgeable in this trade and are wanting to improve this trade for the better of everyone. I to belive there are enough Reps to go forward

I know you have your hands full Tony, but frankly... you are............ 'the man'.

I will be unable to hold an exec board position on the NABBI, because of my "position to be" on the CA Bail Agents Assoc board. I could be an area director though if needed.

I personally like option 1, Tony as an area director and Phil, Luvonda or one of the Scotts as Pres if they are willing...

While I thank you for the consideration ... I feel that I would not be an asset for any position, {other than webmaster } as I am not active full time in the industry. Other than maintaining and running this website. Most of my knowledge and expertise has been through my association of the terrific members we have on this forum and in the directory. I worked as a recovery agent for only a short spell in Maryland. Although, my background does have LE experience - I have not been involved strongly in the industry enough to be familiar with the multiple intricacies that a full time bondsman or recovery agent would have... Thank you,

Well, it would take a member that is very well connected on the upper levels of this business, nationwide, someone that knows not only the business but has the savvy, background and knowledge to carry it through. I can think of at least 4 members that would qualify in that department. I would have a hard time choosing between them but I will give you my 2 cents... worth every penny...
Joe Styles, Scott MacLean, David Martz, Scott Harrell... I don't know Randall Crew that well, but I know that he is well respected in his AO and he is not only FRA but BB and PI as well and has been on this forum for many years... I could also mention Gene Lacy, Steve Faircloth, LuVonda Farmer, Marshall, Timothy McGarity... there are many that I can think of... but ... I think all are knowledgeable in this field... I would say the person has to be able to think quick on their feet, in front of people... have a working knowledge of the 'Rules of Order' and the political environment that we are working in and faced with.... that frankly narrows it down considerably because some of us, while fairly articulate, do not have the necessary skills that separate the leaders from the rest... me as an example can tell a few tales and maybe get your attention but there is no way that I could carry on a serious meeting and there are many of us that fall into that arena... I think frankly, the choice is gonna be between the first 4 or 5 I named.... nothing against anyone else, just overall I think those 4 or 5 would have the necessary skills and knowledge. The choice would also have to be able to have the time to give to the cause... that is a very big order for anyone that is in this business to make a living... and also be able to make the time to travel and deal with all the issues and people that would be involved.
It is a very big undertaking.... it will ask a lot... I know my first choice and probably most of you... would be Tony... but he says no... so I guess we go from there.
I think we may need to sit on this and give very serious looks at everyone... take the time to get it right because the first president will very likely be the strength that gets us up and running successfully or fizzles out... It will take a very strong person... I guess that about sums it up.

I agree with Bill . . . I have narrowed down to two.
