That was exactly my point for posting the article. Bail agents, bondsman and women, bounty hunters, everyone connected to bail are under constant scrutiny. Every thing "we" do wrong will be front page news.
Very few that we do right will ever make it on the news.
So if we want to stay in business in the future, we need to police our own, train the new comers on how to be a professional.
And to be aware that every minute of everyday, some one is watching!

True story: My friend called me a while back and stated his Mother's check book had been stolen from her apartment while she was recovering in the hospital. He went to the Magistrates office to file charges. The Magistrate asked how many checks were stolen. My friend wasn't sure but he said around four or five. The magistrate asked how much he thought the four or five checks were worth. My friend had no idea so the magistrate estimated a buck fifty and a warrant was issued for the person my friend stated took the checks.
Funny thing was, there was no press, newspapers etc. there taking pictures and writing articles about this offense. The person that actually stole the checks was arrested a few days later on drug charges but was never charged with stealing the checks.
I'm wondering if the Tipton authorities were in pursuit of justice or could there be other reasons... If they were truly pursuing justice then I agree, the lady should be charged... If they weren't......
I'm with the Judge, suspending her ability to write bonds however.
