I also like NABBI, it provides a more proffesional name. I think people are always going to see us as Bounty hunters or recovery agents regardless of what we named our association.

I agree, NABBI is a really good name that involves both the Bondsman and Recovery Agents. I hope this Association can get a quick jump start and grow fast. My only concern is that when people say it outloud, that it may be confuse with when some people say NIBE. (ni-bee). I do foresee this Association outgrowing most of these other Associations, though. It's about time that one is created for those that are extremely professional and take what they do for a living as a serious matter (with our friendly neighborhood humor as well). I'd like to see a nationally recognized association that LEOs and the Judicial System can hear about that can give them a "higher" understanding and more respect towards.

Count me in once the details and "membership" qualifications are drawn up, so I can link the new website to my page as well.

Gets my vote too... NABBI... and thanks to all for a very successful meeting. I think everyone got home safe and sound. Pictures are on my facebook page... if your not on facebook or are not linked as a friend on my page... just run a search for my name... Bill Marx, Sr.... and ask for my friendship and as mentioned on another thread... if your not on the post office wall or a petafile... you will probably be ok and get a pass... there are many pictures and I know others have some as well.

I've kicked it around a few times myself and can not come up with abetter name that would not be easily confused with something else.

FYI,
I should have drafts of mission statement, ethics and bylaws for the organizing committee next week.

When ever I go away for a couple of days, it takes a whole week to catch up. Plus I still have the honey do list from the Boss to work on. :(

Aside from the image of LuVonda stickying it  , I'd say NABBI is a done deal! I await committee marching orders Mr. Suggs.

Should I begin working on a framework for the NABBI website?
