Go UK and VCU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could not have been a better sport day for me.............

VCU, ranked 11 beat Kansas ranked #1 !!........ go figure????

... and then to top that off............ UK beat UNC.................... well hot damn..............

Who woulda believed that my two favorite teams would be in the final 4....

All I can say is........... the VCU Rams and the UR Spiders, both Richmond Virginia teams made it to the sweet 16, Richmond got knocked off but VCU and Kentucky are both gonna get a shot at the final game......... not sure how they will do but who would have thought that they would get this far......... amazing...


And my Dad taught in the med school at UK for 25 years and my brother graduated from UK.... so that school is tops in my book.


So............. Go Big Blue!!...............


Go VCU..............

........ and I have no idea how I would react if Kentucky and VCU played for the championship.............. oh well....

Well, just didn't happen but frankly... I got no regrets for the most part... VCU did a great job and was simply off their game... I think they certainly could have won... but just couldn't play at the level required. They still had a really great year... my only regret was that the VCU fans in Richmond got carried away and reacted in a manner that was not at all good for the overall reputation of the school... basically had a small riot in the VCU area and closed down some streets requiring a bit of police intervention. Not good overall.

Kentucky also should have won that game... damn, if they had just not fouled that guy in the last 20 seconds... they would have been up by one instead of losing by one.... but that is the way things happen.... also was extremely disappointed but I will deal with it.

Good games both and there is always next year.
