We have not had a problem but, years ago I believe there were several robberies in the LA area,

I was borne and raised in East L.A., everyone is a potential thief. I stay ready.

Eveytime I walk in the door at home I lock the door. My 4 year old son walked out to play and I locked the door behind him. I didn't notice until saw a small shadow on his tippy toes trying to reach the door bell. I couldn't stopy laughing at that one.

I lock my car door on my drive way. I vist people and lock the door behind me...now that can be weird, my bad, lol...

I was a kid when the Night Stalker was making his rounds, my brothers and I checked all the windows and slept with knives under our pillows. I know, kind'a out their...but I was in 7th grade.

You can't predict a assault or a robbery, but you can atleast be ready to react.

LOL! I do the same thing and try to tell others to always lock the door behind them, thats how home invasions happen. When I was a dispatcher thats how they would always seem to get in... people hanging out at their house with the door wide open or walk in and dont lock behind them..

And I always have a trusty friend to sleep with, one pink and one black

After re-reading my post I feel the need to elaborate...

Both trusty and dont snore!

I thought you were referring to the Pink "Lady Smiths."

Ohhhhhhhh!

I miss that.

My mom lives in a nice neighborhood (in the 'burbs), and she and my Grandpa were home one day with the garage door open. He was even out working in the backyard, and someone came right in and helped themselves to the lawmower and the weed-whaker.
