You guys are so lucky!

First of all, most "AK" style rifles are banned in CA.

Secondly, we must transport all firearms unloaded and locked in a container inside the trunk. Ammo also.

Thirdly, I believe all high capacity mags are banned in CA. We are limited to 10 round mags.

But then again, I don't always follow the CA law regarding transportation. That is why I drive a couple of miles BELOW the speed limit, use my turn signal, use hands free cell phone, etc.

In other words, I don't draw attention to myself!

Bill,

The governor is busy trying to keep his wife, Maria, out of the news for parking in red zones and yaking on the cell phone while driving. So he doesn't care about 1299.

The rest of the mostly useless politicians are trying to figure out which office they are going to run for next year and how to cover their butts for screwing up the state budgets for years.

If 1299 sunsets and CA becomes the wild wild west, I'm sure they wil try to solve the problem by outlawing surety bail. That way they can collect the 10% themselves and not even worry about going after the skips.

You know, the cops will pick them up during a traffic stops!

Oh, the Castle Docturn, no chance in No Nuke Zone, No Drug Zone, No Gay Bashing Zone, No Oil Drilling Zone, No Gun Zone, No Plastic Bags Zone, and No Smoking Zone, the Peoples Republic of California!
