Is it just me, or are gas prices creating subtle changes in the way BEAs--who travel to get things done--are doing business?

One client surprised me by fronting gas money without me even suggesting it.

I appreciated the gesture and closed his case in 6-hours, which also meant that I didn't have to drive all over the place at $3.15 for a gallon of regular :?

It's insane. I had to boost my mileage cost twenty cents a mile to 60 cents a mile unloaded and a buck twenty five for loaded. I like to try and keep it low but gas is ridiculous.

I am wondering when the prices are going to hit the grocery stores and products that are trucked and shipped in (damn near everything).

Back on point, I like to do most of my seaching via computer and phone first and less time on the road as well. Though there are times when you just can't beat "walking" the "beat" LOL. I mean no substitution for it at times.

One of my team-mates stated that he was stopped at the pump yesterday, so that the gas station manager could raise the price then and there.

It is unfortunate that the people, planning Labor Day trips this weekend, will be subjected to never-before-seen gas prices.

Here in NH (live free or die state) fuel hit 3.39 per gallon this morning-i have already cut drive time and am doing more pretext and backround-next will be rate raise to 15 percent period--gone are 10 percent days-price of everyting we do and have will raise because higher shipping and processing costs--if prices continue to grow at this rate i believe we will be put into a deep depression that this country might not get out of for many years and the middle class will disappear leaving the rich and the working poor and the poor--my state is a commuter state most good paying jobs are in mass so many people commute --with the high cost of fuel commuting will no longer be efficent so here comes the problems

I have even better news!!!! The price of gas here in Heber Springs, Arkansas does not exist! As of last evening we ran out of regular gas and by this evening mid grade and premium will be gone. We have been told it will be at least 1 - 2 weeks before more arrives. I hope all of you fare better than us. We get all of our gas from Memphis, Tn and they will not send any tankers into Arkansas for that period of time.

I know gas prices are hurting us but lets keep in mind that there are many, many people to our south would gladly wish this was the only concern they had to deal with. So lets keep them in our thoughts and prayers as we are with our families and friends this weekend. And donate if you can, as these are our neighbors. Hope everyone is safe and has a good weekend.

Dave i have already put myself on the red cross list to house (i have a spare bedroom and enough space) a couple of refuges from down south-the concord red cross is working with the national red cross to fill a bus and bring volunteer people up here to stay while the south area is being cleaned up--every day the bed count in this area is rising-we should all do what we can for our own people instead of importing refuges from forgien countries--our people first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 3 Church Camps here in Cleburne County are being filled as I type with folks that are need of some place to stay. The church camp folks were at Wal-Mart today buying all the things that they would need to help theese people - the bar soap was darn near sold out as well as toliet paper, paper towels, paper plates and the such. The Churches will feed and house them as long as it takes for them to find other means. Arkansas' assistance has been in La. since Monday and Children's Memorial of Little Rock has been flying Angel Missions there and bringing the children here to Little Rock.
I don't know about all the rest of of you but it makes my throat hurt watching the people that are in need of help. I pray that God touches all and brings them thru. For you see it could have easily been any of our towns that was destroyed by Nature.
