Remember there is an election this November and all members of the House of Representatives as well as 34 Senators are up for re-election. It is the duty as Americans to send a message to these bums that the 'WILL OF THE PEOPLE WILL NOT BE IGNORED'. We must rid ourselves of this cancer of the professional politician and take back our Congress. We put them in power and we can remove them from power. Vote your incumbent out regardless of party loyalty. Send a message. We need change and it begins with us the American voters. Pass it on. Tell your neighbors and friends

I may be stupid, the kind of stupid the Democrats expect me to be, you know what I mean, you don't "Get" their line of thinking and that is okay, because you aren't smart enough to comprehend it anyway.

Just some comments and observations...

I do not want to be governed by the far right or the far left, as I am neither.
I have never been polled for my opinion...have you?
I grew up in the day where reporters had integrity, remained neutral and presented both sides of a story so that a learned individual could form an intelligent opinion on the subject...see opening statement
I believe that programs that do not have a way off of the program through education, opportunity, pride etc. are a continued form of slavery, i.e. keep them needing, ignorant and dependent and you will have their vote as you will need each other.
I believe that having the government manage anything is a bad sign.
I believe the power struggle of the elitist in this country to remain in the public eye will go the same way as the current financial crisis, by imploding on itself. Being a pretty face, actor or news presenter does not make your opinion more valuable than mine. Having a showcase for your opinion has responsibilities intrinsic with the privilege, abuse it and it will repay you ten fold.
I believe that if you are running for president, you should campaign against your opponent, not his VP choice.
If I recall, being a Governor was qualifications enough for Clinton (49th in education), Reagan, Bush etc.
so it ought to be okay as VP.
I believe in publishing the government check book, so we have the transparency of where and to whom our money is going. Sound like a novel idea, I wonder what back water hick came up with that common sense idea?
I believe that having faith in God and owning weapons to protect my family, put food on the table and support my country is constitutionally granted and does not make me an ignorant redneck.
I believe that placing more laws on the books to limit the rights of legal gun ownership has not reduced crime one bit, let alone violent crimes. Enforcing the laws on the books against these offenders and not allowing them to plead to lesser crimes is the answer.
I believe that there are three branches of government, the Executive, Judicial and Legislative. Do your job. If you are a Judicial member and wish to make laws, quit your job and run for office.

In short we need to replace the "Me's" with the "We's" to regain control of this great country of ours. The money raising abilities of the Democrats should be used to fix this country, not make advertising executives wealthy. If you feel so strongly about the position, then fund a fix, cure, solution, not send a half billion dollars to get someone elected.

Scott (longing for personal pride, integrity and morals to return to this great nation so God will continue to bless us)

To respond to the "poll" question, I get several calls a day on my cell phone (I have no idea where they got the number) from various numbers wanting me to answer a survey, or there is nobody on the line, or asking for either my ex or somebody that I have never heard of. Even when I tell them they have the wrong number, the calls continue.

Because of the number of these, and that I pay for every call, I have now stopped answering any number on my cell that I don't recognize. They don't leave a message, and since they seem to come around the same times every day, figure they are on an autodialer. Autodialers are illegal to use for cell phones unless the person has a personal relationship with the company calling. I am a registered Republican (my state forces us to do so) so have no relationship with the Democratic party, where most of these calls seem to be originating from according to my googling the numbers. SO, I am tracking and reporting each and everyone of the calls to the FCC.

I understand that I cannot put my business phone (other than my fax number) on the DoNotCall list, but my cell number is on it, and once I tell somebody not to call my business number again, they are not allowed to do so. The exemptions for cell phones and others for political calls that are supposedly exempt if you have ever used your cell or business listing for any form of relationship with a company also is negated if you tell the caller not to call you on that number again. There are 10 questions that you are allowed to ask a telemarketer, and if they refuse to answer them it is a $500 fine per question that they refuse to answer or lie on. Once the first question is asked, or they are told not to call back, I usually get hung up on, but getting hung up on equates to a refusal to answer the required questions, so you still have a basis to sue.

Political orginazions may have the right to call you on whatever number they have managed to find for you, but they still have to follow certain rules, or you can collect on their obstinance. We don't have to put up with telemarketers, or unwanted, unsolicited calls. Fight back, and win! Telling a solicitor not to call your number again makes it illegal for them to do so. If possible, record the call, because it will only get you money when you sue them for not complying. I will try and post the 10 questions that every person has the right to ask, and that a telemarketer has to pay $500 for not responding to, or lies about, tomorrow. For now, I'm done and going to bed.
