9/11 REMEMBER AND NEVER FORGET

I have no problem with the glass ceiling being shattered by a person of color or a female. I just don't believe that Obama is that guy. I would rather Condolisa Rice or Colin Powell take that honor for their untiring service and patriotism to and for all of us.

I do not want anyone representing me from the far right or the far left, as I am neither. Somethings I am liberal about, others I am conservative about.

I believe being politically correct has cost us the ability to call it as we see it, if you are offended, tough beans.

I believe that reporters, both in print and on Television, should strive for their former tenants of integrity, impartiality, neutrality and their ability to present both side of a position. Your reader or viewer is smart enough to decide their own position, if the facts are presented properly. Currently, I have no respect for any of them.

I believe that we all have the opportunity to be successful, but it is not free, handed to anyone, bequeathed or inherited, it is the result of tenacity and hard work and it is NOT easy. Those of us that have achieved a modicum of success, should be rewarded and upheld as examples, not taxed into oblivion. Removing the motivation for achievement has never benefited anyone. Mediocre just doesn't get it here.

I believe the Federal Government is not responsible for natural disasters, let alone predictable ones. If you live in a potentially dangerous area, you must acknowledge it. Your focus should have been on prevention and improving these protections for centuries, not blaming the Federal Government for the failure of the lack of discipline or focus by the elected leaders of that area. How much Federal aid was re-directed to basketball programs? Do they float?
