Jennifer,

Thank you for the link..:)

However, I ran some people through it that have well published felony histories, and nothing came up...so I have to question its accuracy.

I did a lot of checking on this link before posting it and I found it to be very accurate. The searches turned out better results when you went to a specific state instead of using "all states".
Also it helps to know the birthdate.
I am surpised that you didnt find it to be helpful. I find it a useful free site. Particularly if you want to check on a babysitter or new boyfriend or girlfriend. Its not expected to be as good as a paid site, but I checked those who I knew had histories and found them each time with enough information or by using the advanced search.

I put in random names and a lot of people popped up. However when I put in specific clients that are even serving time in prison now in California, none come back.

It appears that this site does not have any CA records. I ran 4 under the advanced search, filled in all fields and nothing.

Anyway, it does seems to cover many other states and can still be useful.

The copyright says 2008 so it's probably too new to be highly accurate.
I ran some names with histories, but no pops on the site yet others did pop.
Maybe with some more time and updating from the site owners it will be very helpful.

there are alot of Data Bases that are better in some States than others . . . perhaps due to each States Privacy Acts and the depth to which they 'protect'

I have found that most of these places draw from the same data bases. For instance, every time I run something through IRB and FindMySkip, I get the same stuff, in general. FMS gives some things that IRB doesnt and the same in reverse.

Like I said before. You gotta have several different things to draw from or your short changing yourself. Learn to weed out the BS.

Edit: Luvonda, I have also noticed some states wont give out certain info on any site. Ironic enough, you can about lay the red/blue election map out and see which ones protect criminals. You know the whole "progressive" movement....
