No it's not that guy. You're thinking of the guy who was convicted of felonies out west somewhere....Wyoming I think....anyway his name escapes me, but I know to whom you are referring to.
Seems like his first name was Chris.....
Anyway the one you're speaking of did relocate to Florence, Alabama and he did send flyers/brochures out to all bonding companies and he did host a free breakfast/seminar in Huntsville....I think either in '06 or '07....
But no it's not the same guy.
Rick Montellone (?sp) has been in this field, that I know of, at least since 1999 when I met him in Florence, Alabama.
He has tried to edge into the Huntsville market, again as far as I know, since around 2006.
He's basically an ok guy, I just don't agree with charging people you're going to mentor. Just my thing. My mentor didn't charge me....and to this day we still help each other out, after 8 years of association.

To update everyone on this .... I told these guys that I do not have the $450.00 to give them, hence me applying for a job, they said to get what I can together and they will see what they can do and call me back... I have yet to hear from them since yesterday morning. So I think, with the help of several people here, we have avoid a would be SCAM. Thanks to all that provided feedback on this issue.

lol...yeahhh riiight...and I still have that ocean front property in Az for sale too... I feel like the proverbial idiot when in such august presence as yours oh noble benefactor (humbling bowing).. Every time I discuss a case with you and you point out such obvious steps that I have missed or forgotten about and every question you challenge me with and I go uh uh uh...lol. Pardon me while I vomit aggressively in the corner...
When ever we help each other, and we all do, we for the most part are just reviewing what we all already know. Sometimes we are so close we cannot see and need to step back and "Eagle Out" to get a clearer perspective. You need no guidance my son, but reminders of focus...oooouuuuuummmmmmmm!
