I did an online app with findmyskip a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard a word from them. Maybe I'll find time to pursue it after tax season if they still haven't found fit to respond.

I still need to get my walk through from Chris. As of now, except for FindMySkip, every data search has denied me approval. The things they ask for are not provided in Georgia. IRB has been giving me the run around for 2 1/2 month, and as of today, the new thing they want.....a picture of my bill board or road sign, atleast 5' x 8'. What tha.....My county has a ban on any new signage. It takes an act of congress to be allowed to put a sign on your roof....and I do Bail Recovery, Asset Recovery, and Process Service. Do I look stupid enough to advertise that on my house (I have a home office)? So, no IRB; No Accurint (I know it is actually IRB); No Trans Union; No Master Files; Nothing but good ole FindMySkip and all the free ones. Guess I'll be working the old fashion way...door to door and hanging a ton of fliers.

RWB,

It just takes time. I am glad to see he got you set-up. :) Even though I didn't mind taking care of things for you....

I just know that it only took me about 24 hours with Skipsmasher and IRB. They told me exactly what they needed from me, I sent it, and I was hooked up. Right now I don't have time to pursue it since they aren't open at this time of night, and I just quit working a short while ago. I told a couple of others about your recommendation and they said it took them forever to respond to them. I guess that's just how they are? I'll get around to it eventually unless I hear from them first.

I talk to Chris at FindMySkip.com today. He told me that his business has pick-up so much in the last 60 days that he is behind and he would get your account set-up for you kathy.

Ok...ya hoo. I spoke with David at IRB, today. He said that if I would send a business card attached to letterhead that I would get approved. He even said that "them" asking or me having a bill board or road sign would not be smart. He said that he can't believe that I was asked for either of those...or even a yellow pages ad. He said, "None of these would be a good idea, in your industries. These would give information to subjects so that they could set your building on fire or something." It helps that he used to live in Georgia and knows alittle about the laws and regulations, here. So, now I am just waiting for the approval e-mail with my log-in information. Sheesh...that was like work.

I just recived a call from IRB.....I am approved. Seems as though you have to go up the chain to get things done. I guess it doesn't always make sence to argue your point to the person you are talking to. It only takes talking to the right person. Now, I guess I need to go back to some of the others that denied my approval and try the same things.....Although, between IRB, FindMySkip, and all the 1000s of free searches I have, I should be able to do ok.
