Anyone who missed Chapman on H&C missed a great show. I was channel surfing during a commercial break of Ralphie Mae on Comedy Central and saw where Chapman would be making his "first exclusive appearance" on H&C.

Chapman, sans Beth, was in rare form. Complete with a crying jag that reminded me of Jimmy Swaggert, here are just a couple of quotes that nearly had me spitting my Coke Zero back up through my nose:

"Everyone in my past is either wanted or on drugs."
"I just now learned that I'm not a black man."
"Even my black friends would warn me, 'Dog,' they would say, be careful how you use that word."

He also contended that would be how he would greet his friend Snoop Dog and that it was his relationship with black people that gave him his name "DOG" as opposed to the other scenario where it was a biker name given him by inverting the letters of GOD.

Then he trots out his black spiritual advisor who forgives him and Chapman turns dramatically to the camera and apologizes to the world while wiping his eyes and getting all choked up.

Anyone who thinks that A&E is letting this "CASH COW" go without a fight has another think coming. Anyway, it was the funniest show I'd seen in a while.

Joe,

Are you serious? He didn't really say all of that, did he?

Is there a transript available somewhere?

Tony, while I personally didn't see the show myself, I had friends of mine tell me about it. They recanted the same story using the same verbage.

Yea,

I just found it on H&C website.

Wait a minute, I have to go to the bathroom. I'm about to lose my lunch!

Ok, I'm back. If anyone wants to waste a half hour watching this circus act, here's the link.

He is now the victim. We must forgive him. His son sold him out for $15K.

By the way, he never mentions who all his black friends are other than Snoop Dog.

You think they may be related? They both are named Dog and have such a colorful life!

If you think the audio is funny, clicking on the picture of Chapman will take you to a partial transcript. Did the "Professor" from whatever college that was really say, "I think it's time we called a spade a spade" when referencing this story?  None of the guys should be allowed to speak in public without both writers and editors. Extemporaneous public speaking is an art form and should be left to the professionals, everyone else should have a censor .
