Penna. Bounty Hunters Arrested

I know it's coming...I can feel it in my bones....one day soon....anxiously awaiting.

The day I get to go find a "bounty hunter" who FTA'd! I will have fun with that one!

Our friends in LE need to get as many of these BONEHEADS in jail as possible..they are dangerous, liars, and a HUGE blemish to a profeessional industry that is suffereing way too much as it is!


PS- Don't be confused....I used the word "Bounty Hunter" because it is indicative of a hot-headed, untrained wannabe bonehaed. They do not deserve to be referred to as anything remotely professional like we call ourselves.

I dont know about anyone else but I wont draw my gun unless I intend to shoot. Way I see it, most people I deal with know I can't shoot them unless deadly force is used towards me. Once the gun comes out what do you do ? Esp. when someone says go ahead and shoot me ? Damn now we have problems. Either way this guy sounds like a total tard and deserves what he gets, what a moron.

A bounty hunter with a gun in his hand is...a one armed bounty hunter!
When a career criminal is unarmed and you are, they know you will not use it. Therefore there is no perceived threat against your target, but there is against anyone else that it is pointed at in the house. A taser, however, will elicit incredible responses from immediate compliance to tear filled begging and then compliance. However, we don't use them because in Maryland, the MD State Police consider them a weapon and you must have a concealed carry to own, possess and implement one. They don't quite comprehend a "Use of force continuum".

Absolutly agree with the taser. I carry both most of the time as well as Pepper and a ASP if I feel its warranted. The gun is only for a last resort, but damn the taser does a fine job. Got a good jolt in a fight helping one of our fine correctional officers at work (ER) and SJPD lit him up I had the pleasure of still having hands on. What a ride.

Ed,

Be careful with the ASP and spray. In CA you can only carry up to 3/4 oz of spray as a civilian. Your BSIS permit does not permit you to carry more than that or the baton as a CA BFRP.

That BSIS Guard Card and permits are only for actual security guards working in unform as guards.

Now most LEO's don't know the difference and probably will not make a big deal about it.

I am very lucky that I know alot of LEO from my county. Saves me any questions on gear i carry. I am very carefull about what I bring when going out of my area. Then agian Im only on recovery #5 but been very lucky that 5 for 5 have been very smooth no weapons drawn no struggles which makes life very nice. Less paperwork less liabiality for myself and employer. Usually just the 45 and taser with me unless real big time bad guy then the whole sha bang (sp?)
