As of today 20050224, I have been sworn into the United States Marine Corps, as a Recruit (poolie) to protect and serve my country!
I pick my MOS out monday. I will train every Mon thru Thursday till the 20th of march to get into shape before I leave life as I know it.
I will be leaving for boot on march 20th so that on the 21st I can arrive at the gates of hell, Paris Island, and be broken down and rebuilt as a new man and soldier over the cruel 13 weeks of recruit training.
I hope that I can share a few more good topics with all you good, no great people who have helped me along the way before I leave.
This will be my 2nd to last update before I leave... I will give another with the specific MOS I have chosen...

Thanks, I wont let them break me. I will do good things there. Not sure on my job yet.. All the security/mp jobs are taken. I have a shot at going intel or nuculear/bio/chemical stuff.. I dont know though. I might just head into aviation mechanic or flight crew.. We will see!

dont believe everything a recruiter tells you they will try and fill a mos that is low on people and try and say one thing is full tell him unless he can get the mos you want you will not enlist.
