Just a tidbit on the ongoing events that has made the news today!

Burlington, Vermont - September 21, 2006

A Vermont bail bondsman facing felony assault charges has had his license suspended.

Vinny Zito was arrested last weekend for allegedly pulling a loaded gun on three unarmed men at a Burlington apartment. He is also accused of threatening to kill a female client after engaging in a sexual relationship with her.

Zito denies the allegations.

But the state Department of Bail and Insurance says Zito has been uncooperative with the police investigation, and his actions are in conflict with the department's code of ethics

this just in:

Too much testosterone can kill brain cells, researchers say

Tests on brain cells in lab dishes showed that while a little of the male hormone is good, too much of it causes cells to self-destruct in a process similar to that seen in brain illnesses such as Alzheimer's

"Too little testosterone is bad, too much is bad but the right amount is perfect," said Barbara Ehrlich of Yale University in Connecticut, who led the study "These effects of testosterone on neurons will have long-term effects on brain function," they wrote. (Ehrlich, B. (2006) Reuters quote of The Journal of Biological Chemistry Vol NG, Pg NG)

Just think of all the male actions this would explain, and the new excuses that will now be used. I guess fair is fair, since females consider PMS to be the all-time excuse for everything  .

The problem here is that there are no further details and this incident has been grossly misrepresented at worst and only partially revealed at best.

Churchill is a con woman. Zito did not have sexual relations with her. He felt bad for her because he believed lies she told him about being sexually abused by her mother, tricked into breaking a restraining order by her ex husband, and gang raped at a UVM party. She further lied and claimed to have been homeless, eating squirrel to survive. That of course was the most inane of her lies. She cried rape because she was afraid of being returned to jail and claiming victimization in Vermont gave her some temporary resources in terms of free housing. A rape kit was done and revealed no evidence that she had been raped as she accused. Why no one pressed charges against her for this is beyond me.

Had the Williston police done their job and arrested Churchill for drunk driving and violating probation, Zito would not have been called. He should not have been called.

Churchill was not a resident of Zito’s home. She broke into Zito’s home. She broke into my home. We don’t hear about this in the media however. We don’t hear about the fact that Churchill is a criminal who mistreats the legal system. We don’t hear about her drug and alcohol problem and how she was in a rehabilitation facility. We don’t hear that she threatened to kill a young man because he didn’t want to have sex with her. We don’t hear that she pulled a knife on her ex husband and tried to smear menstrual blood on him, which is why there was a restraining order on her to begin with.

Zito did show bad judgment by trying to help a client and by going to the scene where she had been drinking. He should not have gotten involved with her at all. Her mother did not want to bail her out. Her birth father, who works for the Burlington Police did not want to help her when she needed to be bailed. Might the fact that he is a Burlington police officer be a factor in the Burlington Police’s mishandling of the situation? We don’t hear in the media about the fact that the Burlington Police left Zito’s car at the scene and it was vandalized. Just like we don’t hear that an officer on The Essex Police Department allowed Churchill to enter through a window in Zito’s home. Had she a key to get in we could say she was a resident, but she did not have a key.

The fact that three men jumped him while they were drunk and tried to grab his gun would seem like reason for him to pull his gun as he was trying to leave the scene. What about the fact that these men were drunk in the early hours of the morning? Does that make them reliable witnesses?

It bothers me that this incident has been grossly misrepresented by the media and people make assumptions based on this misrepresentation. I am adding this reply to these posts so that anyone who has read about this here will gain a broader picture than what was portrayed in the media.

OK, Max.... and where have all of your FACTS come from.
Were you there to witness the alledged incident?
If so why were you not mentioned in the articles as being even interviewed. I am not saying that you might not perhaps be correct . . . just saying that tho the media may very well distort and misrepresent the 'facts' of a story, where do your 'facts' come from and are they any more verifiable?
I do not know the parties involved and therefore really have no real interest in the matters other than as to how it reflects on the Industry of which I am a part of.

While we all know how the media reports things, we would like to see some verifiable info and proof from all sources. Our responses are based only on what is made public or what is proven otherwise.

Steve G says Zito is facing felony charges. He is not. He is looking at a misdemeanor.
