It depends on what state you live in. You can enter the bail enforcement field without training if you already know someone in the businesses. You can get your training from them. But if you don't know anybody you should attend a bail enforcement training school because no bondsmen are going to hire you if you have no training. Onc3e you get your training done get your bail enforcement liscense in your state and then call up some bondsmen and tell them you want some cases to work for. You find have to find a mentor to work wiht and possibly without getting paid the first few cases. GOD Bless.

That is not entirely correct. If you live in a BEA regulated state and simply enter the trade without the proper credentials and licensing you will end up in jail.

Jesus was correct in advising you to check your state laws regarding this field. He was also correct when he advised you to seek training from a reputable BEA school.

Also, alot of your questions are addressed in the BEA FAQ post on this forum.

Also check the laws for what country you are a citizen of because those vary more than our individual state's do.

Not to pour cold water on you but, I just noticed your location, London. If you're not a U.S. legal resident, it will take a long time to before you can legally work bail recovery in the U.S., if at all.

But then there's Hawaii :P
