I am considering the SkipSmasher service, however, I noticed that their "Secret Weapon" is no longer available. Who has been using this service and what opinion do you have about the "Seceret Weapon" not being available.

I use skipsmasher and I'm very happy with it, they offer live up to the minute credit header info for $5.50 and Credit header info within 30 days old for 25 cents, they also offer address and phone info, as for the secret weapon I'm not sure what that is.

Their phone searches are very cheap in price and up to date as far as the other, Secret Weapon must have been before I signed up with them.

I have used them since they started with their beta version, and have always been very satisfied. Their third party credit header provider was lost a few months ago, but the others are very good.
Like the others', I'm not sure what this "secret weapon" is, either. They add new services periodically, and offer a day of free phone searches about once a month.

Thanks for the feed back. The so called "secert weapon" was the third and fourth credit header that they called thier secert weapon. They talked about it in their start up video. I was woundering about their fourth credit header and who it was through. Glad to know that they have worked well for some of you. I will try them out.
Thanks again

I have gotten good and bad info on all of them. I use Skipsmasher and IRB because of the variety of information available on one that the other doesn't have. I use Skipsmasher first for locate info because I usually get more up to date info, but if I need to run a tag or VIN, I can do that on IRB.
Any database info is limited by its source. If the credit bureaus or header source, or their live 411 provider isn't up to date, you will get outdated info. That is why you can't rely on just one source, and why you have to verify all of the information for accuracy and relevance.

Thanks for the info, I subscribed to try it out.
IRB isnt bad. Good for the price, IMO. Its not the holy grail by any means. Lacking in some, but as said above, its pretty good on tags and pretty good on a few other things.
Lookin forward to trying Skipsmasher.

The key to all searches is to gather all of the information that they have and then weed through what is good and not so good. All of the search engines have their good and bad points which is why I use several so I can gather common intel that they offer and proceed from there.
