Also, before asking a question, please refer to the sticky "BEA FAQ's" or use the search function on this website.
Take care and have a great day.

As far as I read and understood I had to have been living in California the last two years..
Then is there anyone in here that could tell me how I could become a security officer? What courses is needed there?
And by the way. Is there a have to have lived in Texas too?
Have a great sunday!

Dani,
Texas does not allow "bounty Hunting" per se. They do allow a person to obtain a Texas PI License which is authorized for bail recovery work.
Again, I refer you to the BEA FAQ thread which will provide you with all of the websites that hold the answers to your questions.
As far as you being a "Redhead", that's my weak spot for women. Too bad you are in Germany...

This does answer my question about that post. Instead of letting everyone participate in answering ones questions are we to just refer them to the one post? For the record I will continue to answer anyones questions if I can help instead of ones all inclusive post. We all have opinions and advice to give to others including the new people that sign up and I think it removes the attraction of this site just to say... look at this post. Where is the interaction between members?

When you get closer to living in California there are quite a few people on this site that could help you in that area. I am sure that at this point and time you understand that not many will help with questions regarding who, what, where, why, when and how until you are a legal resident able to conduct such work here in the states.
Or as Ruffin pointed out to me refer to the FAQ post.

Here is the CA link that lists all requirements for security guards. Its too much to cut and paste on this site.
http://www.dca.ca.gov/bsis/bsisgard.htm
To be a BRFP in CA, you have to complete 3 separate course. one of them is the same to become a security guard.
To take the PC 832 POST course you have to be a legal U.S. resident.
