September 6, 2007)--Three bounty hunters face aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful restraint charges in South Texas for taking in the wrong person.

Troy Berry, 47, of Mississippi, and 38-year-old Bruce Berry, of Tennessee, were held Thursday in the Willacy County Jail.

Bond was set at $145,000.

Another bounty hunter, 32-year-old Shane Valverde, of Alice, was released after posting bond.

They are accused of pulling an SUV in front of 18-year-old Ruben Sanchez's car Monday.

Investigators say the bounty hunters brandishing a hand-held shotgun, handguns and a Taser and ordered Sanchez out of the car.

They put him in handcuffs and put him in the SUV.

Police stopped the bounty hunters after passengers in Sanchez's car reported the incident.

Sanchez was not injured

First line of defense, always make sure you take the "right" person into custody, while following all state and local laws...DUH!!!
