Quote:
Johnson's bondsman license was revoked by the state Department of Insurance in early 1989. He applied for a new one in 2003, but never finished the paperwork, records show. When he applied in 2003, he was denied because he was a convicted felon.

Can someone please explain to me how you would believe that you could get away with this type of action.... seriously, are these people just plain stupid???? and this has been ongoing since 2003????? that is 11 years in my calculations... how is this even happening.... I must be living in a closed barrel or a closet... two issues that I just cannot understand... how did the perpetrators think they could get away with this and second... how could the public officials involved, actually believe that they would never be found out....

... and we as bondsmen and recovery agents who try to do this job the right way... spend all our money, effort and time trying to comply with all the many regulations that are placed on us... and these people have been getting away with this for 11 years????? Give me a break...

I guess there are very lax procedures in place at the courts, jails and department of insurance.

Not to mention the fact that it seems like almost everyone involved is on the take.
