The problem with all negative stories, whether they are true or not, it just perpetuates the "bad" image bail has. If she is found innocent a year from now, no one outside the immediate are will know about it. |

You make a good point. Perhaps I should refrain from posting certain news stories and articles (the negative items that give our industry a "black eye"). Perhaps I should redirect my efforts to focus more on the positive aspects that the media has to offer about our industry whenever those opportunities do present themselves. Unfortunately, it seems to me that the mainstream media produces much more negative material than it does positive material about the commercial bail community. I suppose that the media's stance on this is that "drama sells." |

No, I think we need to see all stories good and bad, so that we can see what problems are created by others so that we can learn and teach others the right way of doing things. Whether or not we post the stories here, they will be out in the public anyway. It however allows us to comment on them and have a chance to "educate" the public when it is appropriate to do so. In this case all the facts are not out yet so I don't think we can make any useful comments. |

Jason, I try not to post the negative articles but as Tony says it serves as a lesson to all of us. Perhaps you should post them in the "Private" section to keep them low key. Just a thought. |
