That is correct. You must disclose any arrests and convictions on the bail application. The DOI will decide whether or not your "crime" is serious enough to deny a license.

I say any felony convictions and many misdemeanors should be an automatic denial.

I see Yak is still on his game.... you da man Yak.... as long as these regulation exist in our industry and no one enforces the regulations.... this will continue...

Like I've said before, we have at least five lowlives up near me that are felons, they ALL have their business's licensed under someone elses name, (easy to do). We also have bondsman that set up shop and just sell their leads to legitimate agents. The NJ Dept of B & I claims that they don't have enough staff to enforce the complaints they recieve to follow up. :roll:

Well...that seems to contradict laws and standards that bondsmen are held too...crazy.
