If he is unlicensed, per the article, how is he still operating? I believe they are referring to a registered business name possibly. His position is that he is bonding everyone, making them sign his contract and then enforcing it. No issue there for me. Personally, I don't revoke bonds because in MD, we have to surrender the full bail fee regardless if all of the money was collected or not. My issue is one of liability, anytime you put your hands on somebody, you expose yourself to potential liability. Is a $100k or more law suit worth it on a $5k bond?

He is a "personal" bondsman, not through a surety.

There have been many complaints against him going back at least 6 or 7 years.

15 Surrenders in one day .. HOLY C&*P ! I am a busy man here in the bowels of ghetto hell Miami and NO WAY can I come close to doing even half that in one day !! We have a couple of bail bond companies here that put people back for any little BS reason to get off the bond and wipe their hands with Liability and keep the 10%.. its just bad work ethics..
