Here is another one that the media picked up in Loveland, Colorado.

All credit to this link goes to Charles Schmidt of E-Bail Bonds in Arvada, CO. He posted this link in the Bounty Hunters group page on Facebook. I have already contacted the Bondsman in Michigan and offered my services here in Sheridan, Wyoming to pick up their defendant. The owner of the company will be contacting me to discuss services in the morning. Hopefully the accusations on their Recovery Agent are dismissed. I would hate to have this hurt the industry more.

I am not sure of what to think of this story, if it is in fact true he should be locked up for being stupid. However something does not sound right. Way was the other agent not criminally charged assuming they were together during the apprehension and alleged extortion attempt?

There was also discussion in the other group about collecting money or having the bond paid off. This is exactly why I do not collect money period! I hope they get off, but having a criminal record as well does not bode well for the hunter as it speaks to a propensity.

Hope this gets cleared up.
