Over parking tickets ? Really..... My deepest condolences to the deceased's family. As always none of us were there and we don't know the whole story, but in my own opinion this never should have happened. Other options were available.

Like was stated, we don't know the full story but I can tell you, if I get a forfeiture notice and there wasn't a mistake made by the clerk that sent it to me, I'm going to re-arrest the defendant.

That''s my job and hopefully no one will commit suicide, but if they do I doubt seriously it's because I'm going to re-arrest them. Much deeper issues than that.

There is much more to this story IMO and I look forward to the whole truth.

Sad for the family.

I agree with Mr. Williams, when I post bond, I guarantee appearance and it is my obligation to make that happen. I have no control how the defendant reacts to that mission and as long as I am within the law, there is no issue. My question would be if they were legally allowed to hunt in TX and if they were TX PI's or had one with them.

I would add that even traffic absconders can be life threatening, and this is a perfect example of one who might have taken others with him.

I agree that it is sad, for the family and for the bondsmen, nobody wants to have to deal with that type of stress. I further agree that there are much deeper issues than just the FTA warrants.
