Hopefully one of the seasoned vets on here can help me understand this one: http://www.brechinadvertiser.co.uk/news ... _1_1488360 I'm disappointed he tells people to watch Dog to see what the job is like, but aside from that how is this possible? There's a Bail Enforcement Agency of the United States? I ask because I really am not familiar, no sarcasm intended. I know of the NABEA, and "US Bail Enforcement Agency" (http://www.usahunt.com), but am not familiar with the "United States of America’s Bail Enforcement Agency". |

Quote: “For television viewers back home, they could get an insight into our work by tuning into “Dog the Bounty Hunter” on Sky.” I think this about sums it up. I want to see him walk up to a DC cop and tell him he is a bounty hunter and tell him he is carrying concealed... also do the same in Kentucky. Quote: Speaking from his home in Woodbridge, Virginia, Christian said: “I have spent the last 12 months here in the States and I really enjoy my work.“I am just about to start an intensive weapons training course, which will complement a lot of the fire power we have to carry around with us. Very curious how he got a carry permit and how he is licensed in Virginia since he is obviously a citizen of the UK??? ... and the one question I would like to have answered.... as Eric has asked... does anyone know who.... "United States of America’s Bail Enforcement Agency"...... is? Unless I am very mistaken or there is much more to this story.......... and there have been some very resent changes in state laws... this has to be a joke. A google on United States of America’s Bail Enforcement Agency produced nothing, although there is an organization that was featured on the 'John Walsh and America's Most Wanted', the founder of that group, Scott Bernstein, according to his website: http://www.usahunt.com/agencyinformation.html, has been in the BEA business since 1986. Although that particular agency has the name 'U.S. Bail Enforcement Agency' it would, as far as I know, still have to operate under the individual state laws and is not affiliated with any Federal or State organization... although it does have the title using the infamous... "U.S." label. I think this about sums it up............ |

Absolutely! We accolytes of 'Dog' always shoot to kill in this bring 'em back dead or alive multi-million dollar business! This guy isn't a danger to anyone because this is simply too silly to have any basis in reality at all. Has to be a joke. Has to. |

I am not aware of anyone, regardless of citizenship or prior criminal history in his country of origin running around legally armed like that. Either something slipped up in the background check or he was not completely truthful. He is supposed to be from Woodbridge, VA not quite the ghetto he describes in the article, mostly US Marines and retired Marines mixed with some Latinos, all in all very disciplined if compared to SE Washington, DC. Like to see him take that get up into the cut that is Savannah Terrace. They will mail his body back. Tattoos don't lock people up or intimidate any fugitives, most of them have them too. I didn't understand that line. Well if he keeps on seeking publicity, somebody will be motivated to properly vet him out, then we will all read about him. Scott |

All I can say when reading this guy's stories on these websites is that it makes me shake my head in disgust. Why would anyone publicly do this to themselves, especially admitting to his past history? I would assume that the Department of Insurance in his AO is looking into that right now. He won't last... and I personally believe that he never did a $750,000.00 bond and collected half that, let alone collecting half of all the contracts he allegedly has done. I don't see any bondsman paying that to anyone. 10%-30% at most maybe, but not 50%. Besides, for someone new to the game dressing all tact out like that, what bondsman would take him serious when his mind though it "shoot or die". I would never employ him in my recovery company... too much of a liability. |

What I find amazing is it never states where or who he works for. The National Bail Enforcers And Security Alliance of America is just a training group, same as NABEA or NIBE. And they are fairly new, located in Deptford, NJ and provide training in Pa., NJ, and DE. http://bailalliance.org/ So who is this big bad Scotsman hunting for?? My guess, not a feckin soul. All talk, no walk. |

When you are touting yourself to people who don't know any better, and believe that our country is the wild, wild west, you can push the envelope until the point where you believe your own BS. Pathological behavior. The number of people in this business that paid anywhere close to 50% on a skip can be counted on 1 hand, and there is always some very extenuating circumstances that must be dealt with...foreign extraction, jurisdictional issues, legality issues, time issues etc. I don't believe he is the only one from the UK to attempt this craft, we have had people on here before that flashed and fizzled out...
