Texas Bounty Hunters has had about 5 offers to do a TV show. We did one series for an Italian company which was very well done, more like a documentary. Only one was serious and we did on camera interviews had footage for a burn reel. That being said the one common question from all producers was "Are you willing to stage or setup situations" our answer across the board was Nope! We want people to see what we really do and how to do it without acting, lying, degrading or otherwise tarnishing the industry with bad behavior.

We have plenty of video that we get from actual cases. We video what we do for our protection and documentation. Sometimes there is some entertainment value in the video we capture, but none of it is staged.

We have finally realized there is no way anyone would create a show that would be honest and real. Most people would not watch it and it would probably not be exciting enough for any production company.

So pick what you wanna do, be a Bounty Hunter or a TV character, you cant do both. Look at all who have tried. They end up looking like idiots and perpetuating the "Outa Control Cowboy" opinion many people and mostly Law Enforcement have about our industry.

I have a saying, I know I stole it from someone but I still use it. "I would rather be lucky than good and rich than famous".
