Post subject: | Looking for mentors |
I am currently pursuing proper training in the facets of law and self defense in regards to become a BEA. I a looking for fellows in the industry to mentor and possibly work with. I assure you i am no liability, but that will rest assured with proper training I.e. Blackwater etc. I am a 28yrs old. My experience and talent for skip tracing is my primary strong point. I am a professional individual seeking equally as professional individuals to mentor. My sole motivation is money. If you are a "loose cannon" or a "cowboy". Please do not respond to this. If you share the same motivations and retain the same level of professionalism please contact me either via email or Pm for my cell and we can talk. I live in Philadelphia, Pa but will operate (baring proper licensing of course) well out of this area if warranted. |

Welcome to the forum. It is good to see the professional approach you have. How about a formal introduction so we on the forum can get to know you a bit better. You can do that here or hop on over to the Introduction section. Good luck in your endeavors. |

Welcome to the forum. I am a little confused by your post but think I get that you are just starting out and are looking for someone to mentor with? As to state specific laws and training, we have a couple of PA people on here, one of which responded already. He can tell you exactly what you need to operate in your state. The confusing part was the other part about the self defense training. Are you saying that you trained with Blackwater? Or that you will be training with them? You have come to the right place to get information. My best suggestion is that you first read the BEA FAQ's topic that you can find "stickied" at the top of each thread. After that, use the search function to find posts on other specific topics that you are interested in. Then just start reading. Most issues and questions have been discussed over and over again, so once you have read what was said feel free to post a reply or a question in any topic that you want info on. And, please post an introduction in the introduction thread. Posting a signature line and filling in your profile will also benefit your endeavor. |

The process of securing a mentor is discussed in the thread "Entering the trade"..tells you step by step how to achieve this. This is how we can tell if a person has read this forum..when they ask a question whose answer is already in plain sight. |

No, i have not trained at Blackwater as of yet. I believe it is the best option as i would be coming into this with no experience. Im heading over to post an introduction. Thank you all for your timely and informative responses. |

DO I UNDERSTAND YOU CORRECTLY, THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON OR PERSONS FOR YOU TO TEACH THE PROFESSION TO? OR ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO TEACH YOU? |
