I have several contacts from this forum on my page, and have no problem adding anyone that I know. We find each other, we add each other, we have another place to make posts, and we have fun with them. On my MySpace, I combine the personal with the professional. If you send me a friend request, you have to know me, cos my profile is private and access is restricted.
My reasoning is that I got tired of getting the spam friend requests, and I don't just add anyone to my friend's list because of the spam/hacker/phisher issue. I have too much business info to just allow anyone possible access. I check out the profiles of any add requests to find out how I know them and why they are wanting to add me.
So, anyone that knows me and can find me is welcome to send a friend request and get added. I consider all means of getting to know each other as means of networking. If you know me from here, find me, and add me. I hope you check me out just as I will you.

I see that Gene's status is "amused" . . . . I hope that we are not the source of that amusement  But then , if we are ~ at least we have brought a smile to his face and made him look handsome
