Post subject: | A few questions... |
Hey everyone, been away for awhile working, I had a few questions if you wouldnt mind helping me out, again! I am thinking about going to the community college to take a few courses. I was wondering if anyone could help me pick from a few that will help me in the law enforcement world... I hear of courses like - Criminal Law - Criminal Justice - Physcology<sp?> ( heard it helps knowing how people may act) - etc... I know in the end it all depends what I want to do. My still number 1 choice is FRA/BEA then was thinking of Personal Bodyguard/ Personal Protection, Border Patrol, Police Officer, and lastly Marine Corps. I am 19 now and so far people said they want me to be 21 to get into FRA/BEA so I can be legally able to purchase a sidearm. I figured why not take a side step and learn a little since I still have a few years to go. If I goto college my friend said he could probley get me in a few clubs or bars in philly bouncing to make extra money. Any information will be greatly appretiated! Also if anyone knows any other jobs/careers in law enforcement/ Security that might be hiring or can help me find information I would be greatful. |

Max is a first-rate professional whose advice should be taken with all seriousness! My suggestion is to go military as well. I was 95B, and that opened doors for me like you wouldn't believe in the private sector. Second, you've got to get educated! By this I mean, get yourself to school and get some initials after your name. After all that, if you still want to delve into this trade (if the F.B.I hasn't picked you up) drop in and tell us how you're doing Rex ps: Max, yeah, 19 was a great age! |

Wow, what you just said makes perfect sense! I think thats the way I will go. I shared similiar thoughts but you just built the picture I have been looking for! Espcially with me having more opportunities, it would just be wrong not to goto the military Thanks for the advice Max and Rex! Of course I will still drop in with questions and updates on how things are moving, and to see how everyone is doing.... Thankd for the advice again |

It is very refreshing to see a young man take advice from these seasoned professionals and actually listen to them. I take my hat off to you Soull01 and please do let all of us know what and how you are doing. |
