I wanted to jump in and introduce myself, I am ex police (18 yrs) and a newly licensed PI in Ellis County TX dba NTXPI #A14712, I am considering offering fugitive recovery services and would appreciate the opportunity of learning from and working with any experienced agents in the area. I am sure there is a big difference in making apprehensions as civlian PI versus how I made arrests as LEO. Anyone in the DFW area interested in mentoring a rookie? contact elliott@ntxpi.com |

I would contact Daron Sneed from here. He is in Collin County. But he can still "mentor" you in basic principles, plus it would give you a local contact on cross county cases. Also, Steve Hedrick is in Texas. You can contact him as well. I would also recommend taking some BEA specific courses: NIBE, NABEA, Compass point investigations, etc. NIBE and NABEA are typically 2 day seminars; compass point can be done online. Also, If you are not already familiar with the UCEA, I would become so immediately prior to performing any extradition of fugitives out of state. |
