I was wondering if anybody could offer feedback on this new website? Any help or comments would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I think first of all you should pay who ever owns this website for plugging your site on it.

Well, after spending 9 hours interviewing friends, strangers and the local PD regarding one of my skips, maybe I'm too tired to think anymore. So no offense but I don't get how this site is going to help me find any of my skips!

Is this just going to be a database of current skips? Or this is going to be a way for me to say, hey I have a skip, who wants to go find him?

This site would be a great idea IF you had a better search criteria.

We have been thinking about a site such as this for our people in the area.

We were talking about not only having up people who are on the run but also people who have been caught in the past.
That way when they run again you just pull up there old information and you don't have to go thru 90 files to get the information you want.

ALSO, it would help other bonding companies know if this defendant has run on someone else in the past and if so how many times has he been picked up.

I think it is a good idea, you just have to have more thought into what you need to have up there being posted.

Basically, what everyone is discussing is a civilian version of NCIC. This is not a new concept.

This effort is a monumental one and extremely expensive. The man hours involved of creating the database, stocking it, and then managing it 24/7 alone is a full time job for a full time staff.

Next issue is cost. The owner of this site would obviously have to charge for it.

Then you have subscriber issues. How many bondspersons, BEA's, etc are willing to give up client's information ? What would happen is that rival bonding companies would then get the contact information of repeat offender's in a certain area and solicit them for thier business, basically building a mailing list for bonding companies to build thier clientelle with.

So in theory, it is a noble quest. In practicality, it's not doable.
