"The main reason for writing this was to give hope to those that are new or planning to get started."

The wording of some people may put off those that are just getting started or thinking about it. I just want them to know that it is work and persistance that gets them where they want to be, Not luck. Thats it. No secret message or angery motives. Just wanting to help out, in some small way.

Hey Scott. Sometimes you make your own luck, and it sounds like you worked hard to get where you are.

I want to add, after reading this over I realised that some may take this as a case of me bragging. That is not what I am trying to do. Please, understand, my intentions were not an attempt to stroke my own ego. I was asked to write the above post by some new folks in our industry, along with several veteran Agents. I have no need to promote my accomplishments. First because I don't want my words to cause to many people to run here and cut into my work load (HeHe, selfish, huh). Second, I am not a public speaker or a Tony Little (motovational speaker). I judge my accomplishments by my bank account and those that I have surrounded myself with. I only wrote this because I was asked. Please take it for what it is worth (and I didn't get paid so its not worth much) Thanks for the encouragement and support.

Now I understand.....

Perhaps you will consider gracing us with your presence at the upcoming seminar ? Be a great opportunity for you to share your story with new folks just entering the field.

I am definately making plans to be there. I need the training and that is my reason for coming but if I can help in any other way, please, let me know.

Sno ~ that was a very well thought out article. But I think that LUCK (karma ~ fate ~ whatever one wants to call it) plays a role in all of our lives. Sometimes we just look too hard and only see the trees.
I am hoping that I will be able to attend a seminar soon and meet everybody ~ Uncle Sam wanted his money first tho and folks are being pretty good right now.
