Hey guys, just thought I would clear up the 1shot_1kill thing..lol If you've ever watched the movie sniper that's where I got it from, and yet I am a good shot but I don't carry a gun, except when I hunt animals. Not my "motto" for bounty hunting. Anyways also I don't have any credentials YET but soon hopefully. Unless you want Home Health Aide Credentials..just kidding. Anyways sorry about the mixup. Thanks for letting me clear that up guys. Jake |

Jake, our goal is to stay liability free, so we question anyone who is new. Send your credentials to admin and to others, and we will make our own decisions. It isn't personal, just what we personally require. |

Exactly what credentials are you looking for? Like I said I am new to this. And yes I realize that you must take precautions so just let me know exactly what it is you would like to know and I'll answer. Thanks, Jake |

You said in your above post that you don't have credentials, yet. A) IF your a home health aid, most states require some form of certification. That can be verified online. B) You're a good shot, but don't carry a gun, except for hunting. I need more convincing.... |

Hey again, I wasn't trying to use the I'm a good shot as credentials. But I'm pretty sure you cannot verify a HHA certificate online, CNA,LPN,PCA all of those yes all I have is a sheet of paper. I'm not sure that it would be on the internet though.... thanks again, Jake |

If you have it,it can be verified online. Any type of licensing is of public record. Usually through your dept of public health website, you can verify type of license, expiration date, any corrective actions taken against you, etc. You can't hide those facts... |

I know you can verify licensing with the state but since being a home health aide doesn't require a license just a certificate I'm not sure whether it would be verifiable through the state or not. I'll check in to it and let you know. Thanks, Jake |

alright as I suspected I was unable to find anything relating to HHA certification on the web, and our nurse informed me that she didn't know of any either. On the other hand if anyone wants to verify my certification they can contact Beltrami County Social Services at 218-333-8300 .. You could ask any social worker there, they all know me! As far as credentials on the web? If you don't want to make a phone call my credentials aren't that important to you. Thanks again, Jacob |

Jacob, most of us are not concerned with your overall certs as much as those who relate to our biz. You have admitted to not having these, and they are not a requirement to being a member of this forum. We may be tough on you, but if this is a profession that you have researched and still want to get into, take the time to read all the posts, learn all that you can, and ask your questions. Many will have been answered in prior posts, but there are always those that are outside previous discussions. The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked. Granted, many have been asked and answered before, so do your research before you post it. That's all that we ask. |
