I may be asking the obvious here, but you didn't specifically addess any steps you have taken, so here goes (bear in mind these are educational/rhetorical questions):
1) Have you met any/all Ohio licensing requirements ?
2) Have you attended any legitimate and recognized BEA seminar/course ?
3) Have you taken any potentially required courses in the use/deployment of handcuffs, chemical sprays, expandable batons, firearms, etc ?
4) Have you sought out the local "King/Queen of the BEA Hill" in your area for mentoring/training ?
I know you are within range of Chicago, Il. to the West and Va. to the East
where 2 equally respectable schools are taught regularly by 2 of the top names in this industry. Additionally, there are several online courses offerd by Bondforfeitures.com.
So these courses will assist you in networking your way into this industry.
